: the consumer stated while driving, the vehicle speeds up on its own. This has occurred several times mainly while driving through parking lots. The consumer took the vehicle in to be evaluated and it was determined the computer may need to be reprogrammed.

While driving automatic transmission will down shift abruptly and vehicle may lunge forward when sitting at light. Driver must keep foot pressed hard against brake pedal to keep from moving when sitting still.
