problem #1

Dec 262015

Sierra 2500 SLT 6.6L Turbo Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 36,800 miles

I bought this truck brand new in 2011. The second day i owned it I had to take it back to the dealer in reference to leaking def fluid and smoking up the cab of the truck. While it was in the shop the front end was way out of line. Not long after that the truck had electrical grounding issues and went back to the dealer. Dealer stated some sort of module on the transmission went bad because of the bad grounding issue. The truck has been in and out of the dealer many times for DEF fluid issues.

The most recent was last week when they had to replace the DEF fluid tank. Picked up my truck on 12/22/2015 drove it home and parked it. My family and i were driving to a Christmas dinner on 12/26/2015 when the engine light came on again. The truck acted like the transmission would not pull. Shut the truck down for several minutes. Restarted the truck and it would barely pull. As i started down the road the truck would not change gears. I limped the truck back home and is parked in the driveway while i cant GMC to contact me back to get it fixed. This truck is the first GM product I have ever bought. In one week i spent over $100, 000 on two vehicles and it sucks because GM treats the customers like this. Not sure what to do now!!!
