Here is my problem...

It all started on a nice sunday, when I drove to church. Parked the car and went inside. Well came out from church and that car sounded really funny. It wasn't running on all cylinders.

I took the car to a shop, and they replaced the O2 Sensor, Idle Air Control Motor, and Coolant Temp Sensor.

Then I took it somewhere else, they fixed a grounding issue, and replaced the Pick-up coil, Ignition Module and Coil Assembly. They also did a complete engine clean, Injection clean, and cleaned just about everything else.

The mechanic, had the car running really well, and took it for a drive for about an hour, and it ran smooth as a bee.

Well he parked it in the sun, windows rolled up, and the dang problem came back. Now it is making a a thump thump thump sound. He hooked it back up to the diagnostic equipment and it said everything was fine. But you can tell its not. Also a note I could smell gas, when the car was started. Thats not normal either.

So at this point the Mechanic at the dealership is pissed at the car, and so am I. Has anyone ever heard of anything like, this or what can be done to fix it.

Thank you for helping...
