Well it all started with the clutch slipping here and there. We still drove it because when we took it in they said it was normal on older models. So we kept driving it untill one day it was not switching gears at all. then we took it in and they said that the whole clutch needed to be replaced and that it would cost about 450$. We had a personal friend that was a mechanic and he took a look at it. He said well that shop is trying to rip you off of 450$ because I can adjust your clutch for 50$ and it will run perfect. Obviously we took the cheaper deal. The clutch has been shifting perfectly every since and that was about a year ago. All it needed was adjusted, but did the shop tell us that.. NO.. they said it would need the whole thing replaced. So really never settle for the first option .. because when it comes to a mechanic they are going to say whatever to collect your money!
