I have had to put 2 windshield wiper motors in this car. One in May 2018 and one again in January 2020. I don't know why there is such an issue with this. Both times the wipers stopped working during a bad rainstorm, and the first time I was on the interstate and alone, and the next time luckily I was within 5 miles from home and had someone with me to put their head out of the window just to get off the road safely. It really is a safety issue and should be addressed.
