Accord LX

  • Manual transmission
  • 15,000 miles

It has been a super annoying issue since about a month after we purchased the car. It was only a year old when we bought it and seemed impeccable. Well, it was really, just had the annoying squeaky clutch. We discussed a repair under our warranty but it wouldn't be a simple fix, rather replacing the entire clutch cable. It didn't happen so we still deal with it to this day.

Accord EXL 4 cyl

  • Manual transmission
  • 14,000 miles

I had the same problem with my clutch squeaking. It squeaked more during the hot and humid months. I brought it to a Honda dealer and they lubed it and told me I was all set. The squeak came back a couple of days later. I bought it back and they replaced the clutch master cylnder. It fixed the squeak for about a year, then the squeak returned after the warranty had expired. I will look for an aftermarket master cylinder now.

Accord LX 2.3L

The clutch would squeak when releasing, mainly when slowly releasing the pedal when starting from a stop. The dealer looked it over and lubricated the pivot and said that it should solve the problem.
