Accord LX 2.4L

When the first wheel bearing went bad I thought I might have hit the curb or something and caused the problem, but they went bad one after another. So far I replaced 2 in the back and one in the front.

Accord EX

The sound started slow and as the car sped up, the volume and frequency increased. I took my leg off the accelerator pedal but the sound kept coming indicating it was a wheel problem. The sound came from under the front hood and was very audible through the firewall. After seeing videos about bearing replacement and how difficult that was, with the need to knock off the bearing, the race and dismantling rotor, hub and wheel, I decided to take it and get it done at the Honda Dealers. After more than $1000 the car is running fine with no noise. I also got the wheel alignment done at the same time.

Accord EX NAV 4 cyl

Upgraded from a 2003 Civic to a brand new Honda Accord with all the bells and whistles. And it happened so that fairly soon after started hearing this grinding or humming noise, it started out quiet but soon enough became noticeable. We took it to the dealers and they replaced the bearing and the problem disappeared. What I don't understand is how come these cars are not all tested before released that a brand new car has to be brought to the shop and have to take time out of the busy schedule to bring it to the dealers, where we bought a brand new car to rid of any worries. It's unbelievable! Soon after the brakes started squealing! That's going to be another complaint... I can't believe this is happening to HONDA where they were supposed to be one of the better cars out there.
