Accord EXL V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

The plastic rear dash that meets the back window rattles when there is too much bass in the sound system. This is the first car I have ever purchased that I have to "remodel". By far, the rattle noise, aside from the crappy drivers seat, makes this the worst car I have ever owned. I hate this freaking car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Accord EX-L Coupe V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,000 miles

Interior rattles all over the place. Started with the rear/back deck. Honda said they couldn't hear it the first few times I brought it in, but I finally found someone who could hear it. They "fixed" it by adding some insulation, but I believe this fix was for a separate rattle, since it still appears to be happening. I've noticed it's much worse in the summer (high internal vehicle temps). There are additional rattles within the walls, especially in warm weather.

Accord EX-L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,000 miles

I have never driven/owned a car with so many rattles. Since I bought the car I have had rattles in the following locations:

Glove box area, passenger seat, gear shift bezel, roof liner, and the steering wheel. There is a TSB for the glove box and passenger seat and steering column. The Dealer changed the steering column covers, that didn't work. In fact, when I got my car back not only was it not fixed, it now made a clicking sound when the turn signal was on and the steering wheel was turned. The Tech thought the rattle in the passenger seat was from the headrest and said there is no fix. The glove box rattle "could not be duplicated" by the Dealer. I fixed the headliner rattle, by pushing on it near the back passenger side door area. The Dealer was just unable to fix the gear shift bezel. I will be going back with copies of TSB's and insisting they fix these noises.
