I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE LAST WEEK AND NOTICED IT HAS EXCESSIVE WIND NOISE. THE WINDOWS ARE ROLLED UP TIGHT BUT YOU STILL HEAR THE NOISE WHEN GOING 50 MPH OR MORE. I AM DISGUSTED BECAUSE THIS IS MY FIRST HONDA CERTIFIED PURCHASE AND THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE. THE SERVICE GUY TOLD ME THAT IT IS A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CAR AND IT CAN'T BE FIXED, NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM PISSED, BECAUSE IF I KNEW THAT THIS WAS A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE CAR, I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED IT.. I WILL BE TRADING IT SOON. VANN YORK HONDA SOLD ME A LEMON!

This is my first new car purchased this past August 2015 - and I am so disappointed with the problems that I've already been having. Feeling like I am stuck with it is even worse. The Honda dealer tells me that the EXCESSIVE wind noise coming out of the driver's side window cannot be fixed and that Honda made their 2015 Accords this way!? I took my car in to get serviced under the warranty and parts were ordered and they attempted to "fix" the problem, but then end up telling me they can't do anything else for it. I can hear the wind as if my window is open a crack and it's so loud that even if my radio is turned up I can hear it. It gives me headaches, it's frustrating to talk in the car, let alone just have peace and quiet on the rides to and from work. I already suffer from migraines and this noise just makes it feel worse. What are my options? Honda needs to fix this problem, paying all this money is not worth it.

The road noise is very apparent between speeds of 40 and 70mph. I see a youtube video of someone who says there is a TSB for a 2013 model. To fix this you have to add a piece of foam to the window liner. https://youtu.be/ZZL6yNho8ng

I have contacted Brown's Honda to see about getting this fixed else I'll return the car.

I have an appt Friday, 10/16 8am to drop the car off. We shall see what happens.

I got Honda Accord LX 2015 3 weeks ago and started to notice some wind noise while I was driving on freeway. First I thought I didn't close the window all the way and tried and open/close the window in driver's side where the noise seemed to happen but it didn't solve to help the issue. I have driven many cars so far and never had such issue before. Fairly surprised about such quality issue with Honda as I see others also stating the same issue. This will definitely affect my purchase decision on my wife's car next time.

I own a new 2015 Accord EXL and after driving for a week, I noticed there is some annoying sound from the window (Driver seat) when I am over 65mph, I thought may be I did not pull up window all the way up or I did not close the door properly. But came to know its neither of them.

When I went to the dealer, they mentioned they had a fix for 2013 Accord models but not for 2015 models. So Until Honda manufacture or R&D recognizes this as a problem, looks like I need to deal with it.

Its loud and roaring. Can't take calls while driving. Honda themselves could not hear my call when I was driving at 80 miles/ hour on highway and they said there was too much noise. I called back and then they say the noises are normal.

Bought on April 20th 2015. Next day onwards some noises are consistent- wind noise being most prominent.

This was fixed by Honda service after 3 complains and it still did not fix the problem. I went it 2 times after this to the dealer where I bought car and then to Honda recommended place close to my home to test drive on highway. I took a device to measure wind noise. The manager did not even use it. He said the difference measured by decibel meter is common. Some difference can exist on both sides of a car.

It also has a peculiar noise when fan is on. Heart beat sound that keep on growing louder. Its a horrible car. Stay away from New Honda Accords and spread the word

My 2015 Accord LX sedan has excessive wind noise since day one. It is a constant sound like the window was not up all the way.

On top of that, there was a very loud turbulence sound with a headwind or crosswind. It happens at highway speeds and especially in a crosswind as I said. It is the airflow around the outside edge of the side mirrors and door frame I believe.

I got my brand new Accord a couple of weeks ago...I did 2 test drives before getting the car. I have to say that I left the dealer as happy as I could be...but now, I am starting to get annoyed with the windows...I hear the window noise (air) coming from both the driver and the passenger doors...it is the kind of noise you hear when you don't pull the window all the way up, if that's a good way to describe it...and I am also hearing a noise coming from the front panels like if I had something lose...you will only hear that one when you change uneven lanes or if it is not a completely flat road. Last night, as I was telling my wife about it, she felt it too, plus she stated she feels the air coming in from her side...this has become a HUGE concern for me as this is a brand new car! (only 1100 miles) We had a Honda CRV and we also have a Hyundai Sonata and none of those have this kind of noise...I am planning to take it to the dealer and hopefully they will fix it...on my daily commute is not that bad, but if I have to drive a long way 4hrs+ I am sure that's going to drive me nuts!

It's a weird situation. Technically, the service guys at the dealership aren't allowed to do anything to fix the problem because Honda hasn't admitted that it's a problem. Honda says it's acceptable noise. If/when Honda owns up to it, they would release a fix and the dealership would take care of it. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. The service guys say they know it's a problem, but Honda won't admit it.

However, there is a fix for the 2013. After I was a big enough pain, the service guy said that he would have a technician buddy help me put this EPT sealer stuff that was used to fix the problem on the 2013 on my window, off the record.

They offered to replace the door seal. The technician said that he knows for a fact that replacing the door seal won't do anything, but he doesn't know if what we're doing off the record will work or not.

I contacted my Honda dealership (Airport Marina Honda) and scheduled it for a service check. The guy named Jose who looked at my car briefly, dismissed that it is a problem and told me "there isn't anything he can do for me because it is a new car." He said "wind noise exists and considered normal in all Japanese cars." He also added that "only European cars does not have wind noise problems." RIDICULOUS!

Dropped it off at the Honda dealership again. They are "unable to replicate the issue". Myself, my family, my friends, and colleagues can all hear the noise, but for some odd reason the people at the Honda dealership state they cannot. Got the car back in the same condition as I dropped it off in (minus my masking tape...guess I'll need to reapply). This is my second brand new Honda - I never had one issue with the first one that I purchased years ago. I'm incredibly frustrated that I spent so much money on a new Honda and am not getting any resolution. I honestly expected more from Honda.

Horrible high-pitched, quiet whistling noise coming from the front driver's side window at speeds of over 65mph. Can't stand the frequency of the noise. Not coming from the passenger window - only occurring on the driver's side. Took it in to Honda. They replaced the Left Front Channel (72275-T2F-A02). Left the dealership, and as soon as I got up to 65mph, the noise is as horribly painful as always. Replacing the part didn't make any difference.
