problem #2

Accord Sport 2.4L

  • Manual transmission
  • 140,430 miles

This is the second time the rear caliper emergency brake mechanism failed since I bought the car new, five years ago (2015 model). First time was in Aug 2017, just outside warranty 120k (72MI), had to fork out $843 CDN. Now same exact problem at 226K (140MI). I called Honda Canada and demanded they fix it for free. It is obviously a design flaw and I don't feel like I should be the one responsible. Waiting for their response.

Accord EX 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,205 miles

Pulling into handicap parking space right turn I was unable to stop vehicle, locked down parking sign im so lucky no person was on street at that time, ended up 3 vehicles and mine damaged. It's in the shop now being repaired, I just hope they can fine out what the problem is with the brakes. I saw where another person had the same happen.
