Accord EX-L 2.4L

The alternator had to be changed after having the battery died several times. Firstly, I got my battery changed in October 2020, and I thought it was due to it being old, etc. Then, later on I got my car tested before a road trip, and the mechanic told me they conducted battery alternator test and it seems like the battery needs to be changed. Then I told them it has not even been 1 year, so they checked the alternator and that was the source of the issue.

Including the battery replacement, it cost me around $650, and I bought a rebuilt alternator, which reduced the cost in total.

Accord LS 2.4L

I had to have a new alternator installed on a car that was only 31/2 years old and only 3000 miles past warranty. I created an order with Honda and they refused to help with payment. Alternators usually last 7-10 years. Terrible!!
