This is a common problem in multiple model years for the Honda CRV. You cannot make it happen by doing something and you can go weeks without it happening. As you are driving the warning letters TPMS light up and the owner's manual tells you to immediately contact the dealer if this happens. I have taken the car to the dealer 4 times and also contacted Honda case # [xxx]. the dealer and Honda said the problem is radio frequency interference with the system and cannot be corrected. When the TPMS is lit the system is not working so you do not know if a low pressure in one or more of the tires is present. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
