CR-V LX V6

What makes a car look trashy, but poor condition of the outside of the car. It is your first impression of the car and of the person driving the car........ all the plastic door pieces are peeling. It looks like the outside coat of the car is coming off. Took it into the dealer ship and they said, "Oh, this happened to some cars, but not all.Not our fault." right- you changed the process and messed up for a while, you need to fix it!

Not a serious beef, dealer and American Honda have offered to pay 75% of the warranty price even though the car is out of warranty. The total cost of repair would be ~ $750. I am just curious to know if anyone else has seen this problem?
