CR-V EX 2.4L I4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 54,150 miles

There must be some sort of parasitic drain in CR-V batteries. I've had to jump start or replace the battery in this car more than any other car I've ever owned. I don't drive much so every time I go to start the car I have to cross my fingers. It's almost like I need to offer a small sacrifice to the CR-V's electrical gremlins every time I want to go to the store.

CR-V I-4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,925 miles

I was 400 miles from home -- first road trip -- and the battery completely dead in less than 4 hours. Honda claimed I left something on, but the CRV was locked. It cut my trip short. I drove home without ac, radio, & cruise control ... 7 hours drive time. Dealer/Service Dept. could not find anything wrong and said they had no way of checking "Computer System" for glitches?????
