I keep reading complaints of 01 Civic owners and I am not surprised to see I have the same problems. Cracked exhaust manifold slowly getting worse. Had it welded and now getting bad again. Gas mileage is horrible, I have no power, ac is so loud, i don't even use it anymore. I live in South Georgia, does Honda realize that this is a hot ass state? It does no good to put windows down because the exhaust is so loud and fumes so strong that it becomes a battle of the noises...run ac or windows down? And God forbid I pull out in traffic. I go nowhere fast. Why is this not a recalled part with all these problems? I am a single mother of 3 and I have put way more money into this car than its worth. but it isnt like I can just go buy a new car. I do know one thing, I will NEVER buy a Honda again.
