I bought a Honda Civic LX before I went to college hoping it would at least last me until I graduate. WRONG. Transmission fluid started leaking at around 80k miles. Took it to the dealer and he recommended me to feed it half a pint of transmission fluid every time I get gas. Ok I took the cheap way out, thought maybe I'll be able to find a better car and trade this junk in. Now, the compressor failed on me. The clutch on it doesn't engage. Called the dealer again and asked how much would an extended warranty for 2 years cost me, $1800.

Long story short, I will never buy a Honda again in my life. People say that they last forever, but I have NEVER seen one. And if they do, its probably only one of their models.

I'd rather buy a 1980 Mercedes with 150k miles on it before buying a New/Used Honda.
