One day I noticed a giant black stain on my carpet cover on the drivers side floor. I pull it back and notice my carpet is completely soaked and dyed blue. When I took it to my local Honda shop (took them 3 separate times to figure out what the blue was) they found that there were 3 small holes in the bottom of the car. They said it probably wasn't properly sealed from the factory or because I gravel driveway that can cause holes. The blue was apparently from the carpet covers being wet for so long that they leaked the blue dye from the bottom of the covers into my carpet. I paid around $200 to have the holes repaired. The carpet was permanently damaged.
