So already had the engine block crack and got a new block for free (plus a new head since mine was warped beyond repair) but as soon as I got my car back it gave me the check engine sign. Took it back to dealership and they said it was the O2 sensor but they checked it and said it was fine and that it may have gotten dirty from "handling it" so if the light came back on I should drive it anyways for a few days and have the code cleared and take it back if it comes back on. Sure enough comes back on! Just took it to the dealership today and they said "Oh hey, I guess you do need a new one" replaced it for 173.00$ On the drive home the light comes back on! It's the O2 sensor again! I'm waiting to hear what the problem really is now but I'm being told that the O2 sensor has nothing to do with the cracked block or the fact that the engine overheated and had to be replaced. So basically I'll be footing the bill. YAY.
