The driver seat is the most painful design. It is as if Honda designed the seats with intent to cause this horrible tailbone pain. It starts out a little in the tail bone then the pain becomes so excruciating in the tail bone and derrière. As far as I can find out there is no fix but to get rid of the vehicle because Honda wants to sell another seat just like the original. This pain I am in, I don't want anyone else to experience.

forward-tilt head restraint causes neck problems

The front seats and head restraints on this car are poorly designed. In particular, the headrests tilt forward, forcing the driver's head down into a terribly uncomfortable position. I have had back and neck pain since I began driving this car. Now I have serious neck problems requiring treatment and physical therapy. There are hundreds of complaints online. Owners suggest adaptations and other fixes, but nothing is available from Honda that I can find. This is a serious problem every time I drive this car, and it causes discomfort for passengers, too. This head restraint issue is a problem with other kinds of cars, but I want Honda to take responsibility and provide a fix for its cars. There are online petitions and efforts at class-action suits. I simply want a fix that will prevent further injury, but medical costs are increasing. Consumers need help with this issue. We paid for cars that are hurting us.

Update from Nov 24, 2017: I have permanent damage to my neck due to the painful position caused by the head restraints, and my condition has worsened as I continue to drive this car. I would like to be notified of any class-action suit against Honda regarding this problem. I would like for Honda to supply replacement head restraints that do not pressure my head and neck into an abnormal position.
