Civic LS 1.8L V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 67,000 miles

The Scholfield Honda dealership in Wichita, KS told me on 8/18/24 that I needed to "update" control arms which causes rapid and uneven tire wear. I've had to replace several sets of tires and my car only has 67,000 miles. There was a class action lawsuit over this same issue, with a claims barred date of December 2013. I was not notified of the class action. I was told by the dealership and a claims manager for Honda that they would not fix this since I missed the claims date deadline. I've had my car serviced by this dealership since I bought the car in 2007 and they didn't told me about this until the claims date had passed. There's also a Service Bulletin 8-0001 from Honda.
