TPMS seems to be a common complaint with Hondas. Sensors stopped working. TPMS signal suggests malfunction.

Civic GX 1.8L

  • 116,000 miles

I have had the car for 2 yrs and all of the sudden the TPMS went on. I took it to my regular mechanic and he said the spare in the trunk was low on air so he filled it up. Problem still not fixed, went to my regular tire guy and they checked air pressure and sent me on the way. they said the TPMS would go off in 24 hrs. It has been almost 1 month and the TPMS indicator has never turned off.

This is my 3rd Honda yet I have never experienced this crap before. Any suggestions?

Civic LX 1.8L V4

This light has been on since days after I got it from the dealership. Never had fixed, but it is annoying. Supposedly, this is a common issue. Never turns off, even when my tires are new or professionally checked. Has been three years, 30,000 miles.

I'm an owner of a 2010 Honda Civic EX---

I am sick and tired of the tire pressure sensor light going on. Always thinking that I have a flat.

So I keep on bringing it to either the dealership or a tire place to have it checked out. (and each time it cost money and my time) the dealership has replaced the sensors but after a month or two it goes back on. what the heck !!

For a woman, Its scary feeling knowing that I will get stuck somewhere on a highway.

Its getting to the point I hate driving this car.
