Civic Hybrid Hybrid 1.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 195,000 miles

My civic has 195,000 miles. My car is more or less a guinea pig for Honda. Problems occurring in other Honda owners I have already gone through.

Eg. My main Battery went out. Honda told me they will replace it for $300.00.

Their reason, because they have no record on how many miles the hybrid battery actually last ( Mine was the first one at 130,000 ) , they ask me if they can have the battery back so as they can send it back to Japan to make improvements. Transmission has been replaced, catalytic converter has been replaced,. My problem now is the Air bag, (srs off) lights up once in a while. Second. while cruising at 75 Mi. sometimes the accelerator would press itself to the floor. Yes as in, you can see the pedal leaving your foot for no reason, my car went as high as 90 mi.

only solution step on the brake and shift to low gear for safety.
