Like many other Clarity owners I have had misc issues with the on screen display, the thing locks up the sat radio when you use remote start, this is well known and not significant. What is is the also well known issue of range. It was fine for the first few months then it started reading 1000 miles as it has for others. The fuel gauge also would take a day or two to go back to full after filling the tank. The doors set to open all four when driver door opened only worked about half the time. The other half just the driver door would open not the rear. The doors would sometimes beep three times after I closed them. Would have to slam shut several times otherwise the car would not lock. And, I think the homelink thing for the garage door was opening my door on its own. Twice I went outside to see that my garage door was halfway open. This was not me and it has not happened, nor any of this has happened, on the 2019 Accord I traded the Clarity in on. I feel that this car is unsafe and unreliable.

I purchased it in good faith having had a positive experience with Honda, but the dealer wanted me to pursue lemon law and I did not want to wait that long as I felt the car was unsafe. The dealer screwed me out of almost 8k because of the negative equity of the Clarity. They could have just made it right and lost a bit of money but no, they had to get their cash.

I will report the high engine revving in another complaint but if anyone reading this in the Dayton OH area, the dealer was Voss Honda in Tipp City. They brag about their "presidents award" but in reality do nothing to make a bad car sale right, they should have just let me purchase the Accord and keep the loan amount the same, now I have a payment I cannot afford. Email to the CEO of Voss Auto Group went unanswered. I would like to be notified if there is a class action lawsuit for Clarity owners. I also will contact the media and have already reported them to BBB, and will file suit directly if this is not resolved. The dealer owes me $7800!
