On Sept 28, 2016 I was driving my 2013 Honda Accord Crosstour. I was turning the corner to Wendy's drive-thru and pulled up behind another car already at the speaker. As I came to a stop the engine revved and lurched forward. I couldn't make it stop as rammed the car in front, caving in the bumper and trunk.It kept lurching forward pushing the vehicle in front away from the speaker . The order taker heard my screams over the microphone. It was as if the car was possessed. I have never been so terrified. The front on the accord was crushed and sustained $4300 damage. It had to be towed. I don't know what the cost of the damages were to the other car. I received a ticket for careless operation on private property. I reported the incident to American Honda. As of yet it has not been inspected. I saw an article for a recall on the Honda Fit for the same issue. I was told there had been no reported problems to American Honda. How can this be since I have read other complaints on your website. I advised them they have a reported problem now. It is still at the body shop as of 10/5/16 waiting for parts. I am terrified to drive it now.

I was turning a corner in a parking lot and pulling into a drive-thru, another car was already at the speaker. As I applied my brakes and was stopping, the engine reved and lurched forward. It was bucking and surging and finally plowed into the other car crushing his trunk and bumper. It was so strong it pushed his car away from the speakers and into the driveway. The servers in the resturant could hear my screams over the speaker and came running out. The whole front end of my 2013 Honda Accord Crosstour was crushed. It had to be towed, It wasnot drivable. I have never been so terrified. I was if the car was possessed. I reported to Honda of America and they said they would have someone come out and inspect it. However, they said that they havenot been able to schedule an inspector yet. This happened 9/28/2016 and it is now 10/11/16. I am afraid to drive my car!!!
