Insight

  • Automatic transmission
  • 6,000 miles

Particularly the headrests! When we bought our 2010 Insight, we really did not find very much wrong with it until I started driving my work commute, 2 hours one way twice a week. After a couple of weeks of this my neck and shoulders started hurting so badly that I removed the headrests so I could stretch out my neck; my husband put them back for safety reasons.

The curvature of the headrests force my chin down and the back of my neck into the hollow in the seatback while my shoulders get rounded and pushed forward. I am tall, so I tried changing the position of the headrest, but nothing worked. I would be extremely appreciative if Honda could offer a newy designed headrest so I could put my head back and rest my neck! Thank you!!

Insight EX Hybrid

  • Manual transmission
  • 600 miles

The Insight seats are extremely uncomfortable and cause back and shoulder pain and my feet become numb. I have tried pillows, additional cushions, adjusting the seat every which way, but nothing helps.
