Never before had any paint issues with any vehicle. We have a 2003 Toyota that looks fantastic--makes no sense. Honda should make this right.

I bought a new 2009 Honda Odyssey in early 2010. A few months ago I noticed a small patch on the roof where the paint was gone - down to the metal. Just recently I noticed the patch had grown much larger and now a second area on the passenger's side of the roof also has paint peeling off. These are large areas where the paint has just peeled off - at least a foot long each and about 6 inches wide. I have owned many cars during my lifetime and have never had one where the paint did this. Upon closer inspection of the roof, I noticed hundreds of tiny black spots all over the roof. They appear to be spots where the paint is just gone, leaving exposed metal. It is too bad, because the car rides great and has been virtually trouble free except for the crappy paint job. I'm going to take it back to the dealer and see what, if anything, they will do about it. After reading complaints online from people with similar problems with their Honda paint jobs, I'm not holding my breath for a satisfactory solution.

Well we just purchased the Van in July. I notice some small light cracks on bumper. I never really paid attention to it. Now few months later after a few car washes the clear coat is peeling off all over even above the headlights. Clearly a defect in the paint and clear coat. Dealer said they need to take pictures and send it in to Honda to get this fixed. Still no luck. Dealer ask if I hit something or got in a wreck? What a dumb question when the clearcoat is peeling above lights and on sides of front grill. If I was in a wreck the lights would be gone. Anyway most of the clearcoat is peeled off and winter is now taking its toll on the front end. Will let you know the results. So much for a High Priced Van. :(
