I thought I wanted a SUV so I got a Honda Passport. Loved it but after I made my first payment it started giving me problems with the transmission. It was running fine, had great power. Then all of the sudden it started losing power. The lights come on barely got it home never runs hot. I parked it and then tried to put it in drive and it did not have enough power to pull, it but when I put it in reverse it does just fine.
I had the transmission rebuilt cost $3,500 and it went 2 months out of warranty and did the same thing over again. So now I am stuck with a broke down Honda Passport SUV that will cost me another $3,500 to get it fixed. Not to mention the dealership I bought it from will not take the SUV back. They will not repo it, so either way it is hurting my credit. I can not trade it in because of the transmission. No one wants to take it I still owe over $9,000 on it and have to pay $250 a month on the payment. This sucks bad I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HONDA PASSPORT AGAIN AND WILL TELL ANY ONE I MEET NOT TO AS WELL. THIS SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM ALL HONDA PASSPORTS HAVE .
