with all the complaints on wire harness melting under dash and replacing ac/heater blower it should be a recall on 2008 models, I understand there was a 2007 recall for this same issue. it is costing me $2300.00 to fix this and it should cost -0- since there has already been recalls for this model truck.

No AC and it's freaking hot! Looked online to see if it was a fuse and found that the 06-07's were recalled for this same problem. No problem I'll just pull the money out of my ass. Thanks Honda!

I was so hoping that the AC problem would be a simple fix -- fuse -- coolant recharge etc., so I go online to DIY. A rash of complaints appear on the screen that describe my truck's symptoms exactly. The repeated dealership findings indicate clearly a defect in design or parts causes this failure. 2006,2007 models were recalled for the same problem.

Honda NEEDS to extend the recall to include 2008 because the problem persists!

Bought Honda Ridgeline brand new, off the showroom floor. 2 months after the warranty expired, the AC quit working. While purchasing the vehicle the salesman told me not to buy the extended warranty, because, I was buying a Honda. Now what do I do?

Ridgeline RTS V6

Being that I just gave up on Ford after being a loyal customer for 15 years because

I was very dissatisfied with a 2005 Explorer that had to have the engine, power window motor, and radiator replaced. I am a little nervous about my 08 Ridgeline that needs a heater harness in the middle of winter. It was very uncomfortable driving with the temp. in the low 30's. along with embarrassing because I have always bragged about Honda's quality because my wife has a Pilot, my daughter has an Accord, and my son has a Civic. And to top things off, I am having to drive a smaller vehicle that is very uncomfortable because the part for my heater was not in stock. I am not happy with Honda for selling me a new vehicle that is already back in service department after 7000 miles. My time is valuable and I do not have time running back and forth to the service department. Thanks Honda for the inconvenience.
