problem #2

Accent

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

Tires were so worn that I could not drive on normal pavement. Never had a car that wore out like this. Dealership just said that this is a known problem and promptly showed me new tires. $400 and not even paid off yet is terrible.

Accent GLS

  • CVT transmission
  • 32,000 miles

2012 Accent has been babied on the road. We have 32K miles on the car and ALL 4 tires are worn slick. We were told the tires were good for 50K miles by the dealership. I contact local Kuhmo Tire dealer, who refers me to the dealership. The Hyundai Dealership refers me to a Kumho Tire dealer. I call Kuhmo Tire USA directly and I learn the tires are ONLY warrantied for manufacturing defects... I reply, "tires that fail to reach normal life span (Dealer stated 50K miles) are defected!'

No resolution offered by Kuhmo, switched to Goodyear Tires!
