Azera Limited 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

I had reported 3 times prior to the 100,000 mile warranty expiration, to the dealer that the transmission was not acting right. Each time they must have reset the transmission chip/brain because when I picked it up it would not jerk as it had when I took it in. Then several months later it would start acting up again. At 120,000 miles I was driving along a busy road and started hearing a sound that sounded like I had ran over something. I pulled over and there was nothing under my car. Then I drove less than a quarter mile and my speed slowed to about 10 mph. Lucky for me I was able to pull off the road into a business parking lot. When I got out and back into the car to leave, it would not move. I had to call for a tow. I had it taken to the dealer for diagnosis and of course the transmission was out. When they called to reported to me the transmission was out the service manager kept stating that the transmission fluid was very clean. I told him that I followed the manufacturer's recommendation and changed the fluid, it had been changed twice. So, now that the 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty is close to expiring the same thing started, the transmission is acting up again. So, again I took it to the dealer, and again they must have reset the chip/brain. Because when I picked it up it would not jerk at 15, 30 & 45 mph. That is 3 gears, so my guess it the darn thing is going out again. I am not a happy camper.
