premature rotor rust premature rotor rust

This is my husband's car and it has been a disappointment from the start, regarding both the reliability of the car and service by the dealer. The latest problem is with the brakes. I drove my husband's car in a rainstorm a few days ago and then left it in the garage as usual. The next morning when I went to move the car out of the garage I stepped on the brakes and they made screeching and grinding noises. That night I tried to think about what could possibly cause a problem like this. The parking brake was not on, so I decided to look at the rotors to see if I could detect any specific problem with them. When I held up a flashlight to the rotors this morning, I was shocked to see that they were covered with rust spots. This was on a car only two years old with only about 30,000 miles on it. I had never seen such shoddy workmanship - never seen rusted rotors like that on a new-ish car - and it was on all 4 rotors. SHAME ON HYUNDAI!!!!!!! I am planning on calling the dealer on Monday and insisting that they not only fix this problem immediately and at no cost, and that they also pay for a tow to their shop. This is inexcusable. My 18 year-old drives this car, too, and God forbid he had been in it when the brakes stopped working. Since others seem to be having this problem also, it is clearly time for the government to step in and force them to send out a recall notice.
