Seeing others posts, and this looks common. Has anyone fixed it?

Safety should be something always covered. This is a common issue with Elantras and could really result in death as the airbags are not functioning properly.

On Sunday, July 21st my airbag light came on. I happened to see where everyone else is also having this same exact problem with their 2012 Hyundai Elantra. A recall really needs to be done regarding this.

I've heard many others with the same issue.... airbag light begins intermittently then constant, as well as during the time of intermittent issue, cannot be duplicated in order to fix the problem. I don't have the funds to take it to a dealer and have them rake me over the coals to diagnose and repair. Thankfully I work with vehicles, so I was able to have our techs check the codes after the airbag light remained constant.

Codes read resistance too high, requiring the clock spring to be replaced. This is not covered under warranty, and after reading so many of the same issue - where is the recall that should be placed on this issue?!
