Elantra

  • Automatic transmission
  • 118,061 miles

Hyundai in their wisdom changed the front suspension half way through model year causing no 3rd party to have parts. Hence it will 6 days just to get the parts in. I might add that the parts are less than 100 miles from me.

Elantra GLS 4

  • Manual transmission
  • 34,000 miles

Left my mothers at 8 pm with a very annoyed toddler who wouldn't stop crying. drove maybe five miles and hit a small pothole. the car suddenly locked up and was smoking. drove to the edge of the road and got out and looked. the coil broke in two, cutting my brand new winter tire on drivers side in five spots. Had to purchase a new tire now the car sits until I can find a factory replacement coil which is near impossible to find so now my car that I pay 300$ a month plus insurance sits there broken while I organize rides for my gf and child in my sh*tty ass 99 gmc which still hasn't broke down as much as this piece of sh*t. This car has been nothing but headaches. I thought lets buy a newer safe car for the family what a joke that was!!!!!!!!!!!
