I traded in my 2005 Elantra for a newer model since the car was very good to me. Since I bought the 2013 Elantra, my front bumper has separated from the car 4 times. The first time my insurance paid $380. The next two times they fixed it for nothing. The repair shop blames it as my fault from when I pull into a space and then pull out I must be pulling out over the cement, which pulls off the bumper. Now I am a 60 year young woman who has never come across this problem with any car I'm driving, including my old Hyundai. Now for the forth time my bumper separated again and I just don't know what to do. I am beside myself? Where do I take it? Is this a defective car that they tried real hard to sell to me? I hope someone replies as I never had such an experience before. It seems to me that maybe one time I could have been at fault, but three more times? I don't think so. I am an experienced driver and I don't accept that any of it was my fault.
