Elantra SE

I took my car to be aligned cause the dealership said that my car needed it because one of the wheels were wearing more than the other. So I took the car to get aligned and the they told me that the car was aligned to factory but is still off and the steering wheel will not sit straight and will make the tires wear unevenly.

When I called the dealership they acted like they had never heard of this issue and it was just not done correctly at the alignment shop. The alignment shop also mentioned to me that they see it all the time and it is a factory defect. I have yet had the time to take it back to the dealership to see if it can be corrected, but considering at this time I am not the only one with this issue I have many doubts that it will be corrected. Not only is the steering off center it feels that the car does not drive straight. I am VERY frustrated with the whole situation!!!

Elantra GL 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50 miles

The steering wheel is not centered, that means when you drive straight the steering wheel is off just a little bit to the right, for me that's annoying, didn't have time to get it adjusted then found that adjustments are only for the first 20 000 Km.
