Otherwise a reliable automobile, the Elantra Touring suffers from cracking/peeling faux chrome covering on door handles. This is sharp enough to cut an unsuspecting user. Either use real uncovered metal or produce the handles in a solid plastic which won't peel. This is a concern as it has occurred on both the driver and passenger handles and I'm sure given time will also affect the rear handles. My six year old grand daughter uses the rear handles to egress the vehicle and I don't want her to get cut.
