The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Genesis. While the vehicle was stationary on an incline, the electronic parking brake (epb) indicator illuminated. The contact stated that the epb failed to respond when prompted. An independent mechanic referred the contact to lee everett Hyundai of everett (7800 evergreen way, everett, Washington 98203). The dealer diagnosed that the epb was faulty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
