Genesis Coupe 2.0L 4 cyl

This car has been a headache since it went out of warranty (ironically). First it was the car wouldn't start due to an electrical problem between the alarm system and key fob. The starter was the next to go. Most recently the fuel pump went literally while I was driving the car. Fortunately I was able to make my way off the road and avoided a collision and possible physical injury. There were no warnings that there were any issues with the car, no dashboard warnings, no usual performance. The car was fine one second and completely dead the next. After incurring $300 in towing charges, first to my local mechanic who was unable to diagnose the problem because his computer couldn't read the Hyundai codes, then to the Hyundai dealership. Hyundai claims it is the fuel pump. I'll remain skeptical until they confirm the car is fully functional. I find it impossible to comprehend how a 6 year old vehicle that is impeccably maintained should have the degree of problems I have experienced over the past couple of years. Needless to say, I will not be keeping the car for long and will not be continuing my relationship with Hyundai. Unfortunate since I have been a Hyundai owner since 2001.
