2011 Hyundai sonata limited My son got in a car accident. Front and driver side damaged Air bag did not deploy He got hit on the top of his head on the crash left hand fingers damaged When breaking the wheel locked He was unable to avoid the accident as the steering when looked

Anyone have the same issue?

I owned a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. I was sitting at a red light and was rear ended by a huge commercial beer truck. The impact not only smashed the rear end of my car, but also pushed me into the car in front of me, crumpling up the front end. I have sustained back, neck, and pelvis injuries. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, even though the crash into the car in front of me was nearly as severe as the beer truck hitting me from the rear.

Update from Dec 10, 2015: The car was totaled.
