Sonata Hybrid Ultimate 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 14,913 miles

The car has a noticeable difficulty shifting first thing in the morning after it’s sat all night. It seems to be around the 2-3rd gears. It smooths out after the first clunk, but reappears every morning. When we brought it in to the dealership, they forgot to put it on the list for the mechanics to look at.

Update from May 16, 2018: Took it in to the dealership. Unfortunately I did this in the winter time and they attributed it to me not letting the car warm up enough. They did however, decide to check the transmission fluid levels and found that there was too much in the transmission so they drained some out. That didn’t fix the problem. It’s now spring/summer and the transmission is still shifting roughly. I will bring it back this week for them to look at.
