I too had the problem of my vehicle signal not blinking or staying lit. The dealer advised me I needed to replace the vehicle's Body Control Module (BCM). This part is about $1,150 new at a dealer or you can buy a reconditioned one for approximately $350-450 on line. The frequency of this complaint has caused Hyundai to issue a recall or some type of assistance to consumers.

The individual circuit is about $ 5 to buy on line and you can do it yourself if you can solder and remove the BCM located underneath the dash on the driver side. It's about two hours work without rushing. If you have this issue with your signal, contact Hyundai consumer service @ 800-633-5151. They will run your VIN to see if your vehicle is covered.

At this point Hyundai is standing behind the warranty expiration dates to relieve themselves of the additional expenses of replacing this defective part? This issue is not what a reasonable person would consider normal wear and tear.

Left signal light doesn't blink and won't go off when car is shut off. Will drain battery. Must unhook battery cable to prevent light draining battery.
