problem #2

May 042012

Tucson

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,000 miles

When shutting off engine trying to remove key, bell would ring and lights stay on interior. In order to shut off you had to tap where the key goes several times till it shuts off. Took to dealer, they said there was not problem. Took it back again, and they sprayed the ignition switch. Said if it happens again bring it back. So far it is two months and not having problem.

Tucson GLS 2.4L Dohc 17 valve 4-Cyl

  • Automatic transmission

When I turned off the car, I was not able to remove the key from the ignition switch. It took a bit of jiggling with the key before it would release.
