Driving on freeway on July 13, odometer drops to zero or bounces around, can't determine speed while driving, warning engine light turns on. 7/15/2013 dealer replaced sensors shopping on July 28, odometer drops to zero and warning engine light turns on 7/28/2013 dealer replaced sensors driving on freeway on October 6, odometer drops to zero 10/8/2013 dealer replaced odometer (mileage was 108,700) diving on freeway on November 2, odometer drops to zero, warning light turns on haven't decided what to do with car.

The contact owns a 2002 Hyundai XG350. The contact stated that the check engine light began to illuminate on the instrument panel while going through an automated car wash. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the fuel tank canister needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The failure had since recurred twice. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer on each occasion where it was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was unknown. Updated 08/31/11 the dealer replaced several components to rectify the engine light problem, but to no avail. The consumer also stated the ABS, tcb and air bag lights illuminated. The engine light is still on. Updated 09/09/11
