XG350

  • 40,000 miles
The contact owns a 2002 Hyundai XG350. The air bag light randomly flashed on and off on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the mechanic and they stated that the air bag control module was defective. The module is enclosed in the back of the seat, which means the passenger side air bag will not deploy in the event of a crash. The manufacturer stated that there were no recalls and they would not cover the repairs. The failure mileage was 40,000 and current mileage was 41,500.

The contact owns a 2002 Hyundai XG350. The air bag and service engine lights continue to illuminate. The contact has taken the vehicle to the dealer approximately 15 times, but they have been unable to determine the cause of the failures.
