My finance and I test drove an Isuzu Rodeo. Now, I'll admit that it was a test drive. I drove it a little harder than if it were my car but I never even went over 65! I didn't drive crazy or anything, just accelerated hard a few times to see how the car would react. First the check engine light came on. Then the brake light. Then another little random light came on. Next, the entire car started shaking. When we stopped at a stop light the POS shook so hard that I almost puked. We were only a few blocks from the dealership when my finance asked me what I thought. I said, "Why would I want a car that feels like it's going to break down at any moment?" We actually made it back to the dealership and were pulling into the parking spot when the front end of the car started smoking. Turns out a belt had come off and hit the fan. The fan then hit the coolant tank and it literally exploded everywhere. Looking under the hood afterwards there was about a 3/4 foot gap where there was NOTHING. It was bad. Luckily the car dealer wasn't pissed at all and was really cool about it. Anyway the point is, I drove this car for 10 minutes and it blew up. Pass on the Isuzu... spend a little bit more on a Range Rover!
