Rear window defogger caused my rear window to explode. I THINK THIS IS A RECALL ISSUE BUT CAN'T FIND ANY NOTICE. THE DEALER OR MANUFACTURER SHOULD PAY FOR REPAIRS AND MY TIME.

Cherokee Latitude 2.4L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,000 miles

car is 5 months old. The rear window exploded while driving at 10 miles an hour after going over speed bump.Reported to dealer..told not covered under warranty. Jeep is not even looking into it. A responsible company would not only cover repair but investigate for cause. Luckily, no one was behind car when glass exploded..however if someone was there they would have suffered severe lacerations.
