Commander Limited Traill Rated 4x4 4.7L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,467 miles

I towed my truck to the Jeep dealer that I once worked for and they refuse to address the issue. My Commander will not go into drive or reverse, it stays in park or neutral. I had to inform the service writer there was a recall N23. Service writer argued with me over the recall. He wrote up my repair for recall N23 and checked and reset tire pressure and is charging me a service diagnosis fee of $145.00. Once the recall was done service write told me "The transmission is still the same, you need to come in and trade the Commander in for another car, we can offer you $5000.00 for your Commander or the service repairs will exceed $5000.00." Yet I will still have to pay them $145.00 for recall and tire pressure reset.

The Jeep dealer was sold and I had no idea, I don't have a job so I can't get a loan and I don't have the money to get my Commander back. Premier jeep is Horrible!! I went to the dealer to talk to them about the truck, they advised me it would be a minimum of 18 hours of labor to get the transmission off the truck, then they would have to go thur it, also advised me the truck would not work properly after the repair and the truck would be junk, just trade it in and buy something else. I was then told to wait and speak to the General Manager Mr. West. After waiting 2 hours and not one person asked if I need help I walked out. I towed my truck over 100 miles in good faith that they would take care of my truck, not I have been told it's not worth the problem. So far for Jeep loyalty, my truck only has 80k mile on it and I love the truck!! I am so upset over all of this. I went online and found out estimate replacement of transmission is only $1500.00 not $5000. So upset!!
