Both front and rear differential have failed prior to reaching 50,000 miles even though the vehicle has been extremely well maintained. The rear failed first and Jeep was willing to pay half even though we are well beyond the warranty. We are now waiting to see if they will help on the cost of repairing the front.

The dealership doing the repairs has been very good to work with so far. This vehicle is depicted in advertising as a successor to the rugged old jeeps. I bet my old 54 military jeep is still running somewhere and I bet the differentials never failed. Jeep should be ashamed of selling a vehicle with a drivetrain that will not make it to 100,000 miles with the proper maintenance and care.
