I replaced my rotors due to premature failure prior to recall. I sent a letter and receipt to Jeep for reimbursement and was denied. I sent a follow-up letter and received a phone call from Jeep which stated my claim was accepted and I would receive a check and then an hour later received another call denying me. I have tried to correspond with the customer service but I am having a tremendous difficulty with not only reaching the pertinent individuals but in getting anybody to followup with me.

I have had my front rotors replaced on my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4 times. (17000, 28000, 35000, 43000 miles). I do not drive in stop and go traffic. I do not tow and I am not a heavy braker. I have complained to Chrysler about this problem on several occasions, but they said it is not their defect. It must be the way I am driving. I have found web sites (deja.com, edmunds.com) that have numerous postings about this problem. I really feel that this is a defect in the Chrysler product.
