Consumer was in front of vehicle with engine running and emergency brake not applied, vehicle suddenly went forward. Consumer ended up underneath vehicle, but was not injured.

I was hit and thrown to the back of the garage receiving many bruises and scratches. I then went to the emergency room and was checked out. My insurance agent came the next day and filed a report of the accident. The dealer from where I purchased the Jeep was notified of the accident. The damage to the Jeep, to the garage and its contents was in excess of $7000. In August 2001, I saw on cnn news Jeep Grand Cherokee's were being reported for transmissions slipping out of gear.
